Halloween falls on the last day of October.Because the Feast of All Saints or “All Hallows” falls on Nov 1. The feast in honour of all the saints in heaven. The day before was the feast’s evening vigil,“All Hallows Even”or “Halloween. Because they prayed for all the souls in Heaven and purgatory on November 1st. The peasants worried that nobody prayed for the souls in Hell. So that they would haunt them for being ignored. So hence the name Hallow evens.
The origin of Halloween goes back further than Christianity with the Druids.
With the festival of Samhain the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead. Not to mention the world of spirits and demons. Is as at its thinnest and it was possible to commune with the dead. For ghosts and demons to enter the world of the living.
The Druids had there temple in Burton where they would worship on this night when the veil between this world and the next is at its thinnest.

Although the Druids where active on this night so are all the other spirits in this very haunted town with over 200 ghosts.Practically every building is haunted as the spirits of Burton seem to co habit.Including monks,gangsters,martyrs and a lot more .

The psychic walk is from 8.30 pm to 10 pm it is outdoors so you are advised to wear appropriate clothing.The walk starts and finishes at Burton Bridge Brewery.It is £15 per person and can be booked by pressing the picture below.
